This document is a signed Winchester Repeating Arms Co 1871 Stockholder Meeting Letter. It is autographed by the founder of the company, Oliver F. Winchester.
Oliver F. Winchester is most famous for creating the New Haven Arms Company, which was responsible for the creation of the Henry Repeating Rifle. This rifle was revolutionary for the time, and was later modified to become the Winchester Model 1866 which became synonymous with the old west. This was when the famous Winchester Repeating Arms Company began, the same firearms manufacturer that is still in business today.
The paper and writing are still in good shape today, along with the embossing on the corner of the page.
